Swirls and eddies

1) I have a new ambition - to be a director! haha. Right now, I'm trying to make a video with... stuff toys! haha. Thing is, I don't have a camera. It's with my mom. HAHA.
2) I feel like the world's greatest literature analyser right now. Haha. Cuz I just found a darn good hard-core inference in To Kill A Mockingbird. And hopefully, no one else has found it! haha.
3) Don't fret now gals. We're going to get 1st place this year for gym comp. If you don't think you can do it, I'll pull us all up!! VICTORY! VICTORY!

2) I'm nearly not coping. Just. Have. To. Wait. Till. Piano. Exam. Is. Over. And. Then. Gym. Competition.
3) I hope I get my very first A1 for chinese test today. :D

My 1st week of 2008

1) There is already loads of homework. But what else could I expect? This is sec 4!
2) My exam questions for art has already come out. I'm really nervous right now. I've been given six topics. Traditional and modern, foreshortened, water's edge, stacked, sightseers, and contours. I"m to choose one and have been given bout 5 months to prepare. Omg! I'm really stressed. Right now, sightseers shouts out to me. But I think water's edge and stacked are the easiest to score marks. But my teacher told me to pick the one that really catches my attention the most. ugh! I'm so unsure.
3) And there's my piano practical exam coming up. I think it's next month. Teacher's really been harping on me about my pieces. She's even started whacking me now. I'm getting really jumpy.
4) Now there's gym competition. I can't even do a proper back somer! Oh no! I'm really scared.
5) Then there's chinese O levels. Can I brush up my chinese in 5 months? I really hope so.
6) There's really a whole amount of pressure on me now. My brother told me that I should use my scores instead of DSA to get into JC. Darn. I was counting on my gym so that I didn't need to worry so much. I was just happy if I was gonna get 12 points cuz then I don't need to study at all. But now with my bro putting pressure on me, the minimum marks I'm going to aim for is 7 and minus 2 from CCA points. Omg. I know you're wondering why I would want to put such expectations for myself. It's not that! It's my FAMILY'S expectations. If I got anything higher than that, I wouldn't be able to hold my head high at home. If my other brother can get an 8, why can't I? And he's the lazy one.
7) Sigh. But this year, you'll see that I'm really serious now. You'll start noticing that I do my homework extra early and participate actively in class. Haha. But the only thing that's the same is that I don't study early. HAHA. I'll just procrastinate again.
8) And now Georgina says she's quiting art.
9) Haha. I bet after gym comp I'm gonna turn flabby like a tofu.
10) It's time to go do homework now. Sigh. Good luck to everyone who're taking o levels as well!

Buzy bee

1) First week and there's a whole mountain of work to do.
2) Gotta make two birthday presents for two friends.
3) Hmm. This year is the year of the mouse. According to my shanghanese tuition teacher, it's a prosperous year for the monkeys. Therefore, I'm quite likely to get good results for my o levels. Hopefully...

My very own 1st day of school

1) It was okay. In fact one of the best ever.
2) But going back home was the big deal. I waited for ONE HOUR AND FORTY FIVE MINUTES right outside my house. Ever heard the phrase "so near yet so far?" Yep. Exactly how I felt. I actually leaned against the rails and yearned for my head to be compressed so that it may fit through the bars. When that didn't work, I tried the back door. Unfortunately, mom hadn't forgotten to lock it. No luck. So after an hour of standing, I tried something purely out of desperation. I tried picking the lock. Yep. With my hair clips. Omg! Did I hear something click there? FAT hope. Then after awhile, all I wanted was for somewhere to sit. Did I mention that just beyond the door there was a chair? haha. I was kinda reaching out for it. Then I got really jealous over how my file, bag and bottle could fit through the gap between the bars while I couldn't. haha. So I finally went downstairs to raid the mail. It's funny how we don't need any keys to get our mail. All you need to do is just reach in through the slot and scrap for the mail. Unfortunately, this trick only works for long-fingered humans like me. haha. Anyway, mom finally came to save me.
3) Reason for above: My bro borrowed my key. And lost it. Yep. And then no one was home.
4) List of homework to do: 8 chinese articles, 3 chinese worksheets, 1 chinese essay, and 15 chapters for lit. Can it grow any bigger? No. Oh wait. Haha! It can! I've got another powerpoint presentation to do on work experience.
5) Overall, it's been a great start to school. Have a really great year everyone! Wishing ya'll the bestest of the best!!!

PANICKING NOW

1) haha. As I predicted, I'm panicking.
2) It's about 4 in the afternoon. And I still have 2 argumentative essays, 8 chinese reflective essays AND 3 chinese worksheets to do.
3) I'M PANICKING. haha. I don't think I'll finish homework in time. But I don't think my teachers will ask me to hand them up either. They probably forgot about them by now. Hopefully.
4) Nodame cantabile really is good. It's super funny. Finished watching it yesterday. Number 2 is coming up! yay!
5) haha. Just watched shoalin soccer. It's super duper funny every time I rewatch it.
6) And to all those procrastinators who are panicking out there right now. Don't worry. You are not alone. hee.
