TOO LONG since I last blogged. sigh. Miss blogging. Ugh. I'm getting too lazy. Okay, let's start from where I last left off.
1) The 'O' Levels. That's right. Once students hear of this, their mouths drop open to form the shape 'O', hence the name. So I just had mine. Ended last thursday. Uhm. Hmm. How did I do, you ask. Well.... heehee. Uhm. Do I really have to say this. Well, I guess I'm screwed. haha. Okay, here's the super duper scary news. I started studying three days before it started. Here's the better news. When I say "studying", I mean SERIOUS studying. Meaning before that, I was already doing my chem TYS. Okay. That's all I was doing before that. I admit. I'm such a procrastinator.
2) But that doesn't mean I'm screwed for the exams. Cuz it was stretched out over four weeks. And since I only take nine subjects, I had plenty of time to study for those individual subjects.
3) So... let's start with English. Uhm. I did my best effort for this. Like, I really studied the essays. Which isn't saying much since I NEVER study for English anyway. Except for the formats of letter writing. Uhm. After both papers, I felt SUPER good. But I really can't say how I did. Just that I felt good. I had humor in one of my essays. Not sure if that's good or not...
4) Okay, next is Chemistry. Man, I studied so HARD for this. Remember I just said I studied only three days before 'O' Levels right? Well, those three days were spent studying chemistry. Yep. And it was HARDCORE studying. So by the next day, which was chem exam, I SOOOO knew my stuff, and felt as confident as I never felt before. The paper was fantastic. For my standards. Which isn't saying much. One regret, there was an answer worth two marks that I KNEW but just didn't think of. ARGH! And then paper one was a HUGE LET-DOWN. Although I still attain above 80%, I expected full marks. I'm so mad and dissappointed over it that I don't even one to say what I got. Okay, you're probably wondering, how do I know what I got, rite? Well, I checked my answers with all my friends. So yeah. So, paper one was okay... paper two I don't know... and SPA was screwed. Ugh. I don't know if I can get an A for chem, let alone an A1...
5) And here comes Biology. Hmm... What can I say...? Paper was so-so. I can't tell how I did. Paper one was a LETDOWN as well. Instead of full-marks, I lost two marks due to carelessness. Ugh!!! Oh well. Still above 90%. But SPA was screwed as well... I too, don't know if I can get an A1 for it...
6) Social Studies. Ew... I spotted three out of five themes. And actually out of that three themes, I only knew one really well. And for that one really well, I only knew one part of the chapter of that one really well. haha. confusing. So I was kinda hoping that would come out. Since I practically memorised that part of the book. Hmm. Regret. I spent too much time on Section A. So, I couldn't finished both essays. But if what my teacher said was correct, I should still be able to get an A for the essays. So all now depends on SBQ. Hope I did it correctly...
7) Lit. AHAHAHAH. Never studied. Only read book and notes. Uhm. We were SOOO lucky!!! The poem at the end was actually tested for our prelims as well. I mean, isn't this unbelievable!!!And what's more unbelievable is that, I didn't study my prelim answers. haha. So made no difference except that I kinda had more time to understand the poem. And WHAT'S MORE UNBELIEVABLE is that my answers were actually the answers stated inthe prelim answers. HAHAH. I'm so lucky. Anyway, that's only for section B. I'm screwed for section A. Just know it. haha.
8) Geography. hehehe. Didn't put my heart into it. Or rather, my head. Ill luck for this. There were three days of free time before the paper 2. And I had to fall sick during those three days and on the day of the paper itself. Darn it. And I was careful to take fruits too! Sore throat, runny nose and fever. Ugh. I couldn't study with the headaches at all. Even when I spent three whole days just sitting in front of the table copying down the whole textbook, not a single thing got into my head. Even mom gave up on me. I'm still pissed at her for doing that. Turned out, Trish was a great help. It seems that whatever I test her, I remember. Weird. So, with good luck coming to me again, a question that I tested her on came out, and I SO totally answered it. haha. Actually, paper 1 was bad. But paper 2 was GREAT. haha. Maybe they'll average out and I'll do okay...
9) Then I had e maths, a maths and art. Let me just say, they were SUPERB. I felt soooooooo good after the paper. (hope it wasn't overconfidence) But I double-checked my answers with my friends, and I got A1 for the papers for both maths. Of course, I can't really tell what I'll get in the end, as it all depends on how everyone else did... Art paper 1 was fantastic. I don't know for paper 2, but I think I'll get B3 for it. So maybe they'll average out as well, and I'll be fine...
10) So overall, I feel slightly satisfied about the 'O' Levels. Funny though. I don't feel sad at all. About leaving SCGS, I mean. hmm...
Really busy after 'O's. On that day itself, we had rehearsal for graduation. And after, I went out with Trish, Patty and Huda to watch Quantium of Solace (is that how you spell?)
Then on Friday I had to go Rachel's house in the morning. Then we had a meeting at school in the afternoon. Then at night we had Graduation Day.
Saturday, I spent 8 hours working for Dad. Really tiring. But kinda worth it, especially since I got pay for it. haha.
Sunday, I had to meet Rachel again. I just love her dogs. Once is a golden retriever and the other is some breed I can never remember. It's black and white and she calls it coco. haha.
Then Monday we had to go for the rehearsal and then it was Prom Night. haha. Rachel and I were the emcees. And we were so enthusistic about making the best script ever. So we decided to write our own scripts then combine them together. I spent 3 hourse on mine while Rachel spent 6 hours on hers. haha. Guess who wrote the better script? haha. Can't really say. Though I would say hers is the best. So we meshed our script together and the resultant script was manificent. The plot was Rachel's. The songs and spice were all mine. Oh, and I also came up with the idea of getting Mr. Lau to be the Phantom. HAHA. Okay, as the theme for the prom was Masquerade, and since we're both in love with the Phantom of the Opera, our script was of course, about the Phantom of the Opera. We were the two managers of Opera Populaire. Haha. I knew it was the best script we've ever came up with. You see, Rachel and I always work together as emcees. It's like we have chemistry. haha. And our script was like a musical. Super funny and entertaining. Anyway, we received several good feedback after prom night from friends, teachers, vice principals and principal. haha. We had the audience laughing every time we came out. I loved doing it. Emceeing and making the audience laugh, I mean. And although I didn't manage to enjoy or even eat one quarter of the 8 course meal at the hotel, I don't regret being emcee. It's like my calling. haha. Maybe when I grow up, I'll become an emcee for some event. haha. Like the MTV awards. haha. Get real. Like I will.
Then we had class party on Tuesday. I sooooo didn't feel like going. I felt really tired after prom night, what with all the worrying over if our unique script will cause a controversy and if it will be a success or not. And after all the partying, I didn't feel like having fun anymore. Just wanted to stay home and snooze. But Trish forced me to go. You know I can't deny Trish her Wish since she's a Fish. HAHA. Lame... So I went there, and just sat down. Didn't swim, like I usually do at class parties. Didn't feel like it. Mom was a savior. She fetched me there and back.
Today's uhm. Wednesday? No Thursday. Ugh then what did I do yesterday??? AHHH CAN'T REMEMBER!!! Darn it. I really can't remember what I did yesterday... I do remember I went out for dinner... But I can't remember anything else. freak. I really do suffer from short-term memory loss.
Okay. Today, drag myself out of bed by 8. Got to HC to train by 9.30. Was greeted cheerfully by juniors and wang jiao lian. Mr. Lim made me do 50 pushups for greeting him. Weird. And I'm soooo fat now. I gained like 3 kgs in 4 months. Crazy right? But it's not surprising, seeing how I exercised (or the lack of exercise) during 'O's. All I did in the months leading up to it was eat, sit down and do exercises and sleep. haha. So training was a terror today, especially since I haven't jumped the trampoline for SEVEN months. Totally lost my touch and coordination with the trampoline. Was so tired after a few jumps due to shortened stamina and my heart hurt like hell. Too much workload for my flabby heart, I guess. Haha. And I was flying all over the trampoline and landing in weird postions on the tresh mat. My juniors stood transfixed, as they gazed at live entertainment before them, or that's what one of my juniors said. Grr. They were laughing so much. haha. Yeah, I guess I kinda looked funny landing on my butt all over. haha. And then after, we had to go for a lunch at sakura. It was supposed to be a farewell party for the seniors. haha. but half the seniors didn't even turn up. But the coaches came as well! So it was quite fun. Ate soooo much my stomach was gonna burst. Then I went shopping with the coaches. haha. Quite fun. Went around Robinsons, looking at stuff. Then Zhang Lao Shi was so nice. She bought me a bottle and I didn't even know her intentions until she was at the counter. haha. And I just needed a bottle too. Cuz I lost the bottle I got for my bdae that Marisa gave me just weeks after. haha.
So... tomorrow I gotta attend Patricia's party. Kinda owe her one, since I didn't write a letter for her...
Um. So training officially starts next week. Yay. Met my to-be-senior today. Her name is... Jean I think that's what she said. They're really nice. Came up to me and introduced themselves. Told me training will start next week. Yes, I know I already said that. Thing is, lao shi wants me to train in SC as well, cuz there's only xinmin jumping on the tramp so she has more time and attention to focus on me. Ugh. I really dunno. Mom's not really supporting the fact that I have to start training as early as now.
haha. Oh yeah, now I'm totally hook on two dramas. They're Miss No Good, which is currently airing and Loveholic which was made in like 2005 but for some reason has escaped my attention til now. And I'm totally crazy over Pet's Society in Facebook. haha. It's really cute. Of course it gets boring after all. But I've got strong motivation to designed the best-looking house. haha. So I'm like saving up a lot of money first before I go buy any furniture. All my friends use up all their money buying furniture that aren't high-end. hahah. I'd rather not do that. So that's why now I have over 10,000 coins. And I've only spent 500 coins in shops so far. haha. Uh, why am I talking about this. haha.
haha. And I've got Dad twirled around my little finger. haha. I'm his baby girl. He does anything I want. Well, to an extent, that is.
woohoo. I know reading a super long post is really tiring and boring. But it gives me great satisfaction after writing it, especially after a long absence from blogging. haha. I spent three hours typing this. haha. Mainly cuz in between paragraphs, I'm uploading pics onto Facebook, playing Pets Society and watching Loveholic. haha.
Anyway, I look terrible on Prom Night. Everyone said I looked like a grandma from the 80s. Well I don't care, cuz even though it wasn't intentional, I did look the part for the manager of Opera Populaire. HAHA.
So, I guess I'm just about at the end of my most probably longest post ever. I don't expect anyone to even read this post. haha. But who cares. I'm just blogging to let out my feelings and thoughts. Okay. It's almost 12.30am. And I'm tired. Still gotta finish the drama episode. Gotta publish the post now. So see ya people!
P.S. Now I've gotten back into reading the Archie's comics to fill up the time waiting for things. Except those comics are like a decade old which belong to my bro and I've already read them for like a dozen times. haha.
